Deadly Earthquake

Salam - The Earthquake that rocked the greater part of Northern Areas of Pakistan on the morning of 10/8 has taken over THIRTY THOUSAND lives so far. It has caused a lot of damage to the remote villages of N.W.F.P & Kashmir. The devastation is beyond any living experience.

It is my humble request to you that you contribute to the relief efforts being organized by various agencies. Here are some organizations that I know, are working in the affected areas:

2. Islamic Relief
3. Edhi International Foundation
4. International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies

You can contribute online, using your credit card. For other payment methods, refer to the website of the relevant organization. Note that if you live in US, all of these are 501(c) 3 registered and hence your contributions are tax deductible.
